Hormonal therapy: The use of medications for instance, in breast cancer treatment to shrink a tumour or slow its growth thereby lowering the risk of blockage of oestrogen hormone in the cancer cells.
Gene therapy: This treatment involves inserting normal genes into the cells to replace faulty genes that are causing cancer.
